Lelo Burti

Lelo burti is a traditional Georgian team ball game played annually in the village of Shukhuti on Orthodox Easter Monday. Two teams, often numbering in the hundreds, wrestle a heavy leather ball stuffed with sawdust across a river toward the opposing side's goal, in a rough, rugby-like scrum with few formal rules.
