Speedsolving

Speedsolving is the hobby and competitive discipline of solving mechanical twisty puzzles, most famously the Rubik's Cube, as fast as possible. Practitioners memorize algorithms and solving methods (such as CFOP or Roux), train finger tricks for rapid turning, and compete in events sanctioned by the World Cube Association, with top solvers completing a standard 3x3 cube in under five seconds.
