Shadowgraphy

Shadowgraphy, also called shadow puppetry or hand shadow art, is the performance technique of casting hand and finger shapes in front of a light source to create recognizable silhouettes—animals, faces, or scenes—on a wall or screen. It has roots in ancient storytelling traditions across Asia and Europe and persists today as a form of theatrical and street performance entertainment.
