Flying Trapeze

Flying trapeze is a circus aerial discipline in which a performer swings from a suspended horizontal bar, builds momentum, and executes acrobatic tricks such as somersaults before releasing to be caught by a catcher hanging from another trapeze or landing in a safety net. It demands strength, timing, and trust between performers and is a highlight act of traditional and contemporary circuses. It has also become a recreational activity offered at circus schools and adventure camps for thrill-seekers wanting a taste of aerial acrobatics.
