Romani Dance
Romani dance refers to the traditional dance forms of the Romani (Gypsy) people, characterized by improvisation, expressive hand and shoulder movements, rapid footwork, and passionate, emotive styling often performed to violin, guitar, or accordion music. Regional variants exist across Europe, from Spanish Romani influence on flamenco to Eastern European Romani folk dances. It has historically influenced and been influenced by the folk dance traditions of the countries Romani communities have settled in.
