Robot Football

Robot football, or robot soccer, pits autonomous or remote-controlled robots against each other in a soccer match played under rules adapted for machines. The best-known platform is RoboCup, an international research and competition initiative founded in 1997 that uses robot soccer as a benchmark challenge for advancing artificial intelligence and robotics.
