Robot Dance
Robot dance refers to a style of movement that mimics the mechanical motion of robots, using stiff limbs, sudden stops and starts, and isolated joint movements; it developed as part of funk and street dance styles like popping in the 1960s-70s. The term also describes a category in humanoid robotics competitions (such as ROBO-ONE) where builders program robots to perform choreographed dance routines.
