Radio Orienteering
Radio orienteering, formally Amateur Radio Direction Finding (ARDF) and often called "fox hunting," is a sport in which competitors use a map, compass, and radio direction-finding receiver to locate hidden low-power radio transmitters hidden in wooded terrain as quickly as possible. It combines the physical demands of cross-country orienteering with the technical skill of radio signal triangulation. It is practiced competitively worldwide, with international championships organized under the IARU.
