Trail Orienteering

Trail orienteering is a form of orienteering where competitors identify which of several nearby control flags on a map corresponds correctly to a marked location, without needing to physically navigate cross-country to reach it. It was designed to be inclusive of participants with mobility impairments, since courses follow accessible paths and tracks. The sport rewards precise map-reading and interpretation skills over speed or physical fitness.
