Paramotoring

Paramotoring, also called powered paragliding, is an aviation sport in which a pilot wears or straddles a lightweight, propeller-driven motor unit attached to a paraglider wing, allowing self-launched, sustained flight without needing a hill or tow. Pilots can take off from flat ground, climb, cruise cross-country, and land using just the wing and motor for control. Enthusiasts are drawn to its relatively low cost and simple gear compared to other powered aircraft, along with the open-air, slow-flying views it offers.
