Racket Sports

Racket sports are a broad category of games in which players use a handheld racket (or paddle) to strike a ball or shuttlecock, including tennis, badminton, squash, table tennis, and racquetball. They range from fast reflex-based indoor games to endurance-testing outdoor matches, and appeal to people for their combination of aerobic exercise, hand-eye coordination, and competitive strategy. Many are played as both casual recreation and organized professional sport worldwide.
