Piterbasket

Piterbasket is a fast-paced streetball variant that originated in St. Petersburg, Russia (whose colloquial nickname is 'Piter'), typically played on a single half-court hoop with rules adapted for smaller teams and quicker games than traditional basketball. It grew out of the city's street basketball scene as an informal, flashy style emphasizing individual skill and showmanship. It has since spread to organized recreational leagues and tournaments in Russia and neighboring countries.
