Pushball

Pushball is a team game, popular in the early 20th century, played with an oversized inflatable ball—often six feet or more in diameter—that players push or shove toward the opposing team's goal rather than kicking or throwing it. It was played on college campuses and at fairs as a novelty, physical, low-skill contest of teamwork and brute strength. Its appeal came from the spectacle of a giant ball dominating the field of play.
