Mascot Race

A mascot race is a lighthearted promotional event held during breaks in a sporting event, in which people in oversized costumed mascot outfits race each other, often around the field or stadium concourse. A famous example is the Presidents Race at Washington Nationals baseball games, featuring costumed U.S. presidents. These races are a form of in-stadium entertainment meant to engage fans between innings or halves.
