Funk Styles

Funk Styles is an umbrella term for a family of street and club dance styles that emerged in the 1960s and 70s, including Locking, Popping, Boogaloo, Robot, Strutting, and Waacking, danced to funk music. These styles originated largely in California club and street-dance scenes and became foundational influences on later hip-hop and commercial street dance.
