Freestyle Motocross

Freestyle motocross (FMX) is an extreme motorsport in which riders perform aerial stunts and tricks on dirt bikes off large jumps, judged on style, difficulty, and execution rather than race speed. Riders take their hands and feet off the bike mid-air to perform tricks such as backflips, whips, and no-handers before landing on specially built dirt ramps. It emerged from motocross racing in the 1990s and is showcased in events like X Games and Red Bull competitions.
