The Dougie is a hip-hop dance move that swept popular culture around 2009-2010, popularized by the song "Teach Me How to Dougie" by Cali Swag District. It involves swaying the torso side to side while running a hand through the hair, and became a staple move at parties, in music videos, and on dance floors, especially in youth and hip-hop culture.
