Course Landaise

Course landaise is a traditional French bloodless bullfighting spectacle from the Landes region of Gascony, in which agile athletes called écarteurs and sauteurs dodge and leap over charging cows (not bulls, and not killed) to earn style points from judges. It blends danger, athleticism, and choreography rather than combat, and remains a popular regional festival tradition in southwestern France.
