Car Orienteering

Car orienteering is a motorsport-adjacent navigational activity in which drivers and navigators use maps and route instructions to locate checkpoints or answer questions along a course while driving, emphasizing accurate navigation and timing over speed. It is often run as a low-key, non-competitive or amateur event on public roads, testing map-reading and route-planning skills rather than driving performance. It shares roots with traditional orienteering and time-speed-distance road rallying.
