Cammag

Cammag is a traditional team stick-and-ball game from the Isle of Man, similar to shinty and hurling, played with curved wooden sticks used to hit a ball or cork toward goals. Historically played between parishes on New Year's Day and other festival occasions, it largely died out by the early 20th century but has since seen small-scale revival efforts. It is valued today mainly as a piece of Manx cultural heritage rather than a widely active sport.
