Add work history, education, and milestones

Adding entries

From your profile, each section — Work History, Education, Goals — has its own add flow. Organization names link to real organization pages, so your role at a company connects you to it.

Sharing to the feed

When you add a role or education, a checkbox lets you share it to the feed so your connections can celebrate with you. Uncheck it for a quiet update — the entry still appears on your profile, just without an announcement.

Goals

Set role goals ("become a staff engineer") or learning goals ("learn Rust"). When you achieve one, you can link it to the work-history entry that fulfilled it — achieved goals become part of your story.

Timeline

Your entries power a visual career timeline on your profile, with two styles you can switch between and share as an image. See Career timeline styles and sharing.
