Rubik's Cube
Other
The Rubik's Cube is a 3D combination puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor Ernő Rubik, consisting of a cube with rotating faces covered in colored stickers that must be aligned to solve it. Solvers use memorized algorithms and pattern recognition to restore the scrambled cube to its original state, and competitive "speedcubing" involves solving it as fast as possible. It has become both a popular puzzle hobby and the basis for competitive events sanctioned by the World Cube Association.
