Analytics Engineer
Analytics Engineers build and maintain the data infrastructure, pipelines, and models that transform raw data into actionable insights for organizations. They combine software engineering discipline with analytical thinking, using tools like SQL, Python, and dbt to design semantic data layers, ETL workflows, and dashboards that enable faster decision-making across business teams. Duties & responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines and ETL processes that move raw data from source systems into analytics-ready formats
- Develop and maintain data models using dbt, ensuring quality, documentation, and version control across analytical assets
- Write complex SQL queries to transform data, create aggregations, and solve business analytical problems
- Build semantic layers and dashboards that enable business teams to self-serve insights without engineering assistance
- Establish and monitor data quality standards, testing protocols, and governance practices across the data platform
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data infrastructure, reporting, and modeling solutions
- Mentor junior team members on data best practices, code standards, and analytics engineering principles
