Process Control
Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Environmental)
Process control is the engineering discipline of monitoring and adjusting industrial or manufacturing processes (temperature, pressure, flow, chemical composition, etc.) to keep them operating within desired parameters. It relies on sensors, controllers (like PID controllers), and control systems such as DCS or PLCs, and is used heavily by chemical, oil and gas, and manufacturing engineers to ensure product quality, safety, and efficiency.
