Journey Mapping
Marketing and Social Media
Journey mapping (or customer journey mapping) is a visual tool used in UX design and marketing to illustrate the sequence of steps, touchpoints, and emotions a customer or user experiences when interacting with a product, service, or brand. UX researchers and product teams use it to identify pain points, opportunities for improvement, and moments that matter throughout the customer lifecycle, from awareness to purchase to post-sale support. It helps align cross-functional teams around a shared understanding of the user experience.
