Thomas Built Buses is an American manufacturer of school and commercial buses headquartered in High Point, North Carolina. Tracing its roots to the 1916 Perley A. Thomas Car Works streetcar builder, it began producing buses in 1936 and has been a subsidiary of Daimler Truck North America since 1998, making it one of the largest school bus manufacturers in the U.S. by market share.
