What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational/Industrial Safety, Safety Engineering, Human Factors, or related EHS field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 4 years EHS program management experience in manufacturing
- Detailed knowledge of federal, state, and local occupational safety regulations including OSHA and EPA
- Strong auditing and incident investigation skills
- Ability to lead and influence employees at all levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS software systems
- Ability to climb ladders and lift moderately heavy items
Nice to have
- Food, food-related, or consumer packaged goods industry experience
- Experience with Safety Management Systems such as VPP, OHSAS 18001, or ANSI Z10
- Background in ergonomics process improvement
