- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience with significant indirect procurement background
- Experience in category management or senior buyer roles delivering substantial savings
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects with senior stakeholders
- Prior people management or team leadership experience
- Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies and tools
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling including spend analysis and TCO analysis
- Familiarity with e-sourcing and procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) and advanced Excel
- Strong understanding of contract law and contract negotiation principles
- Knowledge of indirect categories and supplier markets
- Excellent negotiation skills for complex deals
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data quickly
