What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Healthcare or related discipline
  • At least seven years of commercial experience in medical diagnostics, medical devices or healthcare
  • Demonstrated experience managing business across African markets, particularly West Africa
  • Experience with donor-funded healthcare programs and international funding agencies
  • Experience working with government healthcare institutions and Ministries of Health
  • Experience managing distributors and indirect sales channels across multiple countries
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Fluent French, written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Postgraduate qualification in Business Management or MBA
  • Large-scale healthcare project, tender or turnkey opportunity leadership experience
  • Experience with implementing partners and NGOs
  • Proficiency in additional African languages
  • Existing network across Ministries of Health and funding organizations
