What they ask for
Required
- ASNT Level II or III Certification in Ultrasonic Testing
- NDE classroom training and certification per NAS 410 or SNT-TC-1A
- Minimum 5 years total NDE experience
- Minimum 3 years in commercial aerospace manufacturing or heavily regulated industry
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
- Experience creating part-specific inspection techniques
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Nice to have
- ASNT Level 3 Certification in Ultrasonic Testing
- Level 2 certification in other NDE methods (PT, VT, ET, PAUT, UTSW)
- Experience inspecting additively manufactured materials
- Knowledge of industry standards (NASA, AMS, AWS, ASME, ASTM)
- Experience qualifying NDE inspection techniques for volumetric methods
- CAD experience
- QA/QC or Lean Manufacturing knowledge
