- 12+ years in software or infrastructure engineering
- 5+ years leading infrastructure, SRE, or operations organizations including managing managers
- Strong systems architecture sense
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Cross-functional collaboration and ownership
- Deep AWS experience at scale including VPC, IAM, multi-account, core services, observability, and cost optimization
- High AI fluency with ability to evaluate and integrate LLM/AI platforms
- Vendor and partner interface experience with cost governance
- Database and data platform understanding covering OLTP and analytics
- Experience running high-reliability platforms with SLOs, incident management, and postmortems
- Track record driving engineering excellence programs
- Clear communication skills and ability to manage executive-level escalations
- Infrastructure as a product experience with roadmaps and stakeholder communication
