What they ask for
Required
- Hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, LWC, and Flow in production
- Experience building or extending CPQ and quote-to-cash functionality including custom code against CPQ packages
- Integration experience between Salesforce and billing, ERP, or provisioning systems via REST APIs or middleware
- SFDX proficiency with source-controlled metadata and sandbox-to-production release processes including peer review
- Active use of AI-assisted development tools like Claude, Copilot, or Cursor
- Basic SQL skills and comfort with data warehouses
- Ability to communicate effectively with sales, deal desk, finance, product, and engineering stakeholders
Nice to have
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications
- Advanced Administrator or Application/System Architect certification
- Deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits, bulkification, sharing, and CPQ-specific constraints
- End-to-end CPQ implementation or re-platforming experience
- Experience with Stripe, Metronome, or Oracle billing platforms and usage-based pricing models
- Understanding of how CPQ design impacts bookings, invoicing, and revenue recognition
- Proven experience scaling Salesforce in high-growth GTM environments
