Woodchopping

Woodchopping (an alternate spelling of wood chopping) is both a practical woodland task and a competitive sport in which axemen use axes to chop through logs positioned upright (standing block) or underfoot (underhand chop) as fast as possible. It has a strong tradition at agricultural shows and lumberjack/timbersports events in Australia, New Zealand, and North America.
