British Baseball

British baseball is a bat-and-ball game historically popular in Wales and parts of England, closely related to rounders but with its own distinct rules, such as a five-sided pitch and batters striking the ball with a small rounded bat rather than a full swing. Two teams take turns batting and fielding, with runners scoring by reaching bases around the pitch without being put out. It survives mainly as a traditional schoolyard and community game in Welsh towns like Cardiff and Newport, often played at works outings and local festivals.
