Wing Walking

Wing walking is an aerobatic stunt in which a performer stands, sits, or performs maneuvers on the wing of a biplane while it is flying, typically strapped to a rig for safety during rolls, loops, and other stunts. It originated in early 20th-century barnstorming shows and remains a niche thrill activity offered at air shows and by specialty tour operators. Participants and spectators are drawn to the extreme visual spectacle and the rare experience of open-air flight exposure.
