Wiffleball

Wiffle ball is a variant of baseball played with a lightweight, hollow perforated plastic ball and a long, thin plastic bat, designed to allow pitchers to throw exaggerated curves and breaking pitches. Popular as a backyard and neighborhood game in the United States since its invention in 1953, it requires less space and equipment than baseball and is played casually as well as in organized amateur leagues and tournaments.
