Underwater Target Shooting

A CMAS-recognized competitive sport in which divers use a speargun-like weapon to shoot at fixed targets underwater for accuracy and speed, similar in spirit to archery or air-pistol shooting but conducted while submerged. Competitors are scored on how precisely their shots land on a target, and the sport draws from spearfishing traditions adapted into a formalized, non-lethal competitive format.
