Truck racing is a motorsport discipline in which modified heavy trucks, often based on semi-truck cabs, compete on closed circuits or in off-road formats. Categories range from European Truck Racing Championship circuit events to off-road endurance races like the Dakar Rally's truck class, testing both raw power and driver skill in handling large, heavy vehicles at speed. Fans are drawn to the spectacle of oversized vehicles cornering and overtaking at surprising speeds.
