Tetherball

Tetherball is a playground and backyard game in which a ball attached by a rope to the top of a pole is struck by two players standing on opposite sides, each trying to wind the rope fully around the pole in their own direction. It's popular with children and casual players for being fast, simple to learn, and requiring only a small space.
