Tamburello

Tamburello is an Italian racquetless sport in which players use a tambourine-like drum-shaped paddle (also called a tamburello) to hit a small rubber ball over a net or against a wall, similar in spirit to tennis. It has a long history in Italy and other parts of Europe and is played both recreationally and in organized competitive leagues.
