Sledge Hockey

Sledge hockey (also called para ice hockey) is an adaptation of ice hockey for athletes with lower-body disabilities, in which players sit on small double-bladed sleds and propel themselves and handle the puck using two short sticks with pick ends. It is a Winter Paralympic sport known for its speed and physicality despite the players' seated position.
