Single Wicket

Single wicket is a historic variant of cricket played with a reduced number of players per side (sometimes just one batsman against a full fielding team), using a single wicket instead of the standard two. It was especially popular in England and Australia in the 18th and 19th centuries as a way to showcase individual batting skill, though it is rarely played formally today.
