Shorinji Kempo
Shorinji Kempo is a Japanese martial art founded in 1947 by Doshin So, blending striking and grappling techniques with Buddhist philosophy and personal development. Training pairs physical techniques (goho, hard techniques, and juho, soft/grappling techniques) with mental and spiritual cultivation, making it as much a philosophy of self-improvement as a fighting system. It is practiced mainly in Japan and has spread internationally through affiliated federations.
