Sans Skates

Sans skates (French for "without skates") describes a variant of an ice- or floor-hockey-style game played wearing ordinary shoes or boots instead of ice or roller skates, as in broomball. This substitution makes the game more accessible to beginners and reduces the skill barrier of skating while keeping the stick-and-ball/puck gameplay.
