Running of the Bulls

The Running of the Bulls (encierro) is a traditional event, most famously held during Pamplona's San Fermín festival in Spain, in which participants run through narrow cordoned-off streets ahead of a group of bulls being driven to the bullring. It draws thrill-seekers and tourists for its adrenaline and danger, though it also draws criticism from animal-welfare advocates.
