Racewalking
Racewalking is an Olympic track and field discipline in which athletes walk as fast as possible while following two strict rules: one foot must always appear to be in contact with the ground, and the supporting leg must straighten momentarily as it passes under the body. Its distinctive hip-driven gait and judged technique distinguish it from running, and races are held over distances such as 20km and 50km on roads or tracks.
