Pelotica De Goma

Pelotica de goma ("little rubber ball") is an informal street version of baseball played across parts of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, using a small rubber ball instead of a hardball, often with a broomstick or improvised bat and simplified rules. It grew popular as an accessible, low-cost way for children and neighborhoods to play baseball-like games without formal equipment or fields. Many Caribbean professional baseball players credit pelotica de goma as their first introduction to the sport.
