Pêl-Fas

Pêl-fas is the Welsh name for a traditional stick-and-ball game historically played in Wales, considered part of the broader family of folk games related to shinty, hurling, and early forms of hockey. Played informally with curved sticks and a small ball, it reflects Wales's older regional sporting traditions before the standardization of modern field hockey. Today it survives mainly as a point of historical and cultural interest rather than an actively organized sport.
