Patience

Patience is the British and Commonwealth term for what is called Solitaire in North America: a family of single-player card games in which cards are arranged and sequenced according to set rules, usually aiming to sort a shuffled deck into ordered piles. It is a popular quiet, contemplative pastime playable with a standard deck, and countless variants exist (Klondike being the best known).
