Pacu Jawi

Pacu jawi is a traditional cow race from West Sumatra, Indonesia, in which a jockey stands on a wooden plow or sled hitched between two cows and races them through muddy rice paddies. Held after harvest season, it's both a competitive spectacle and a cultural festival tied to agricultural traditions of the Minangkabau people. Skill lies in the jockey balancing on the sled while gripping the cows' tails to steer them through the mud track.
